Credit Card Orders:
All credit card orders are processed thru a National address verification system (AVS) thru Mastercard, Visa and Discover. Orders will only be shipped to verified billing address of the credit card used.
The numeric portion of the address ( street number and zip code) must be absolutely correct or order cannot be processed.
Do not provide an alternate address for shipping other than the billing address of the credit card. A problem occurs within the banking system where once your card has been charged and immediately credited back, the bank still holds an authorization (not a charge) on that amount for 3 days. The authorization will automatically drop off after 3 days by the bank. You must call your bank to have the authorization dropped off any sooner when address doesn't match.
As a suggestion: an alternate address can be added to most credit cards in addition to the original billing address
We no longer ship outside the United States or accept credit cards drawn on non-US banks. Puerto Rico is not part of the US banking system.
We do not accept credit card payments for: Engines, short blocks, long blocks or transmissions. These items must be prepaid with a bank check or cashiers check. A purchase agreement will be forwarded to buyer prior to purchase upon request. Bank checks and cashiers check must clear our bank before shipment.
* credit card orders accepted up to $1195.00. parts orders exceeding that amount must be prepaid with a bank check or cashiers check. faxed I.D. must be forwarded on credit card orders over $800.00 with legible signature.
* commercial credit cards: if using a company or commercial credit card, your tax I.D. must be provided at time of order. The customer verification system asks for this info when using a commercial credit card. failure to provide the tax I.D. related to the commercial card will void the transaction.
Pre-payment:
Orders pre-paid with a bank check or cashiers check will be shipped to any U.S. address the customer chooses providing shipping instructions are in writing and accompanied with payment. Bank checks must clear our bank before shipment
PayPal:
All Ebay auctions and parts sales paid thru PayPal will only be shipped to confirmed addresses provided by Paypal. Orders will not be shipped to unconfirmed addresses. Ebay and Paypal address must match. we will not charge or ship to third party Paypal accounts
Warranty:
All new engine sales are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles, which ever comes first and are warranted thru the manufacturer. Used engines are guaranteed but do not carry any type of warranty. Warranty or guarantee claims on engines are limited to the maximum purchase price of the engine and applicable sales tax. Warranty and guarantees are as of invoice purchase date. Labor is absolutely not reimbursed. Freight costs are reimbursed at the discretion of the seller.
New component parts are warranted for a period of 90 days from the purchase date of the original invoice.
Used component parts carry no warranty.
Refunds:
Refunds are given only up to a period of 30 after the date of the purchase invoice. Absolutely no refunds will be given after 30 days. The original invoice must accompany any returns. An RGA number must be on the outside of the return box or shipment will be refused and sent back to you at your expense. Please call for a return RGA number before returning. Shipping charges are returned at the discretion of the seller.
Tracking Numbers:
Kar Kraft Engineering, Inc. does not supply UPS tracking numbers unless there is a problem with the shipment. Tracking number requests are refused when shipments show "on time". If not supplying a tracking number creates you an issue, please, do not order. thank you
